Water filtration & treatment pros across British Columbia.
Coastal soft water, mountain minerals, and Interior well treatment.
About BC water
Local water, local expertise.
British Columbia's water is famously soft on the coast but wildly variable across the Interior and Vancouver Island. Whether you're on Metro Vancouver's municipal supply, a Gulf Island cistern, or an Okanagan well, our local pros install the right filtration, disinfection and mineral treatment for the source.
Coastal water runs acidic
Metro Vancouver and Victoria's soft, low-pH water can leach copper from plumbing. Neutralizing filters (calcite) fix pipe pinholes and blue-green staining.
Cisterns and Gulf Island supply
Rainwater and hauled water systems need sediment, carbon and UV at minimum — often a full multi-barrier setup.
Okanagan hardness
Kelowna, Vernon and Penticton wells frequently see moderate to high hardness plus iron; softeners + iron filtration are standard.
Wildfire & turbidity
Post-wildfire runoff has spiked turbidity and taste issues across the Interior — carbon and sediment systems help stabilize supply.

FAQ
BC water treatment questions.
Why is my Vancouver or Victoria water eating copper pipes?+
Coastal BC water is very soft and slightly acidic (low pH). An acid-neutralizing calcite filter on the main line raises pH into a safe range and stops copper corrosion and blue-green staining.
Do I need a softener on the coast?+
Usually no — Metro Vancouver and Victoria water is naturally soft. Softeners are more common in the Fraser Valley, Okanagan and Interior where well hardness is significant.
What's needed for a Gulf Island cistern?+
At minimum: sediment pre-filter, carbon block, UV disinfection, and often a UV-blocking cistern cover. Water testing before design is strongly recommended.
